Driver Identification

The S5 system verifies that the vehicle is being driven by an authorised person. This can be done using the Driver ID app (included) or with optional Driver ID cards for customers who prefer a physical device.
Optional upgrade: Driver ID cards available for £30.

24/7 Monitoring

Global Telemetrics runs a Secure Control Centre that monitors devices all day, every day. This includes alerts for things like vehicle movement (if unauthorised), battery tampering or disconnection, driver detection not being present and if connected alarm triggers.

Live Tracking

Users can see real-time location, journey history and geofences (set virtual boundaries). Push notifications or alerts can be sent via the GTE Track app.

Back up battery & Tamper Alerts

S5 units typically include internal battery backup so that the tracker continues operating even if the vehicle power is disconnected. If there's an attempt to remove power or tamper with the devices, alerts are sent.

Geo-fencing

The tracker can alert you if the vehicle leaves or enters a defined area, or moves when its supposed to be parked.
