How Smartphone Identification Works
The smartphone option uses journey notifications and the SOS response process in GTE Track. T2 offers physical Driver Detection cards as the alternative identification method.
1. Receive a Notification
GTE Track sends a push notification when the vehicle moves. Keep your phone powered and able to receive notifications.
2. Report Unauthorised Use
If you are not driving and the movement is unauthorised, press SOS in the app.
3. Speak to the Centre
The Global Telemetrics Secure Control Centre contacts you after the SOS alert and supports the response.
